Former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen has shared his score prediction ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
The match is arguably one of North London’s biggest derbies in decades, with both sides involved in a direct shootout for a Champions League place next season.
It is also the first time that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be packed for the visit of Arsenal and the atmosphere on the ground promises to be quite electric.
There has never been a shortage of bad blood between the two sides, but the ill will between the sides grew even more after Arsenal called off the match in January when there was only one. only case of Covid in their team (ESPN).
Spurs need the three points to give themselves a chance to finish above their fierce rivals, but a draw will be a fantastic result for Mikel Arteta’s men and see them maintain their four-point lead going into the final two games of the season.
Owen told Bet Victor of the clash: “I’ve been looking forward to this one for weeks. Spurs may have dropped points this weekend but it was an impressive draw at Anfield. You can see what Conte is building, and they’re not far from a great team.
“For Arsenal it was not a typical performance but the win over Leeds was vital to extend their lead over Spurs. Nketiah was among the goals again, he looks a natural finisher.
“Even a draw would be a good result for Arsenal here. I think that’s what we’ll see. I’m leaning 1-1.

Despite showing strong results in recent weeks, Arsenal haven’t played particularly well. They certainly weren’t at their best against Manchester Utd, West Ham or Leeds.
So if we play close to our best on Thursday, I expect us to beat them. However, the challenge for Spurs will be that Mikel Arteta is likely to set up his side to defend deep and want to commit too many bodies up front.
