Beverly Hills, Sept. 26, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In this interview, Darryl West discusses how Powerhouse Real Estate turns clients’ real estate goals into reality, empowering its agents along the way.

What mission matters to you and what brought you to your current path?

West says his mission is to find what motivates others, focus entirely on that, and block out all the noise to achieve those goals as quickly as possible. He remembers that when he was younger, his mother faced such financial difficulties that she sold her house to an “investor” for much less than its real value. “Later, I discovered that we had other options, and that led me to learn more about real estate,” he says. Over time, he began helping families in similar situations, working to help people with mortgages save their homes. Today, as a seasoned residential real estate professional, he is also trying his hand at short-term rentals.

Tell us about Powerhouse Real Estate.

At Powerhouse Real Estate, we generate leads, but not (in) the traditional way of phone calls,” says West. “We leverage social media, create content and redistribute our ads so people find us through different mediums and come to us. We teach how to be findable by building your brand and using inbound marketing.

“We follow a roadmap where we post content on social media with a hook for owners,” he continues. “They then receive retargeting videos on multiple topics and feel like they know you. Therefore, when a team member reaches out to them, it’s not a cold call. We specifically work in the big Los Angeles area, known as the South Bay, and cover the beach towns.

The secret sauce to creating good content

“It’s an 80:20 ratio,” West notes when asked about his tips for creating great content. “80% of the content is about who I am, which filters out people who don’t match me. People who match me get the (other) 20% – real estate content.

Along with email marketing, it has also been sending out monthly newsletters for years. “You have to create value first and offer free information to customers,” he says, in an effort to build familiarity, credibility and trust.

What’s next for you?

West says he’s excited about his next podcast, Powerhouse Entrepreneurs. The show is currently in pre-production and its plan is to bring together good hosts and authoritative speakers to share their finance and real estate expertise.
