Reliance Jio’s head of brand communications and digital marketing, Errol Marquis, has left the company after a six-year stint.
Marquis announced this via his LinkedIn post.
Marquis wrote, “After 6+ years, 50+ awards, 100+ campaigns, 500+ events and 450 million subscribers, I say goodbye to Reliance Jio. I am very proud to have been part of Jio’s success and to see the company become a market leader in the digital and telecommunications space. A big thank you to my partners and vendors, a lot of respect to my colleagues but above all a gratitude to all of you, who have been with me during this incredible journey from the launch until today”
At Jio, among other roles, he was also responsible for brand and communications strategy, e-commerce, digital marketing, internet and mobile marketing, OOH and emerging media.
Marquis has over 20 years of experience working with major brands in the telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, banking and finance industries.
Previously, Marquis was associated with Vigilante Communication as an Account Management Business Leader for over three years. He has also worked for Vodafone India, United Spirits, Ogilvy & Mather, Rediffusion and Triton Communications in the past.
