Paul Curtis Mountford – St George News

Dr. Paul Curtis Mountford, 84, of St. George, Utah, died May 27 of natural causes.

He was born in Payson, Utah in 1938 and later spent most of his early years in Heber, Utah before attending the University of Utah for his college and medical training. In 1969 he moved to Port Orchard, Washington, where he practiced family medicine for 27 years, including delivering hundreds of babies for local families. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and telling stories.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lynnae B. Mountford; his sister, Karen, and brother, Asa; His children, Mark (Natalie), Lisa and Frank Mountford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Paul (Julie and Samuel Mountford (Alex), as well as his great-grandchildren, Henry and Lukas Mountford. He was predeceased by his son, Lynn.

Dr. Mountford will be cremated on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, Utah.
