Naida: A case of cheating lakhs of rupees by creating a fake website of a pizza company has come to light in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company, which has master pizza franchisees in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, filed a fraud complaint at Noida’s Sector 20 Police Station against people who defraud thousands of people by creating a fake company website.

Officials of Food Company located in Sector 16 of Noida filed a complaint in Sector 20 that unknown persons set up a fake business and also set up its fake website. It is alleged that by contacting people via fake emails and mobile numbers, thousands of rupees are cheated on the pretext of obtaining the franchise of an overseas food company.

The company learned of this when the applicants from the franchisees who were duped, they started creating a row after reaching the food company office in sector 16. Then the company learned that the fraud of lakhs of rupees was happening in the name of their franchisee. The police assured that soon these defendants will be arrested.
