BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) – After graduating with a marketing degree from Canisius College, Clarissa Rias said she noticed a shift towards digital marketing.
âI just started freelancing, running paid advertising campaigns for some local businesses in the area,â said Rias, director of Clarissa Rias Digital Marketing Group.
After the COVID-19 hit, Rias said she had an influx of business owners who were looking for other ways to market their business during their shutdown.
âBasically I came up with some really easy and fun strategies that are reasonable, cheaper than maybe traditional marketing,â she said.
She’s decided to use her 10 years of expertise to help more business owners, by getting online on Facebook every Tuesday, without charging anyone who attends.
She advises on setting up Facebook ad campaigns and targeting specific audiences, as well as introducing new ideas and reinforcing what business owners already know.
âThe other things I’m talking about are like different strategies for you to market your business online for free or for less than you would expect,â Rias said.
Rias started streaming on Facebook in April of last year, and since then she’s invited business owners, like CE Eaton who owns Enchanted Faces & Haus of Kula.
Rias helped Eaton set up an advertising campaign for their website.
âWithout any effort, traffic to the site skyrocketed,â Eaton said. âShe has helped me really target who I want these products to be for. She has such a passion for helping you get to know small businesses, minority businesses, women and everything. She has such a passion for it. that no one is really getting out there for. “
Rias’ next livestream is scheduled for June 27, where she will review social media tools.
